The initial kickoff meeting of the project “Development and Implementation of a PhD program in ICT for Kosovo Education System“, which is co-funded by Erasmus Key Action 2, under the reference number: 609990-EPP-1-2019-1-SE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP has started with the implementation phase.
Krenare Pireva Nuci, took the lead to write the project in collaboration with prof Anita Mirijamdotter. Thanks to the new ideas that were given from prof Welf Lowe, Arianit Kurti, Patrik Elm, Michele Gibney , the colleagues and Rectors of respective Universities, the project became very attractive, so the EU commission decided to support the project and it allocated around 1 mil EUR for the implementation phase.
Now, in the implementation phase, the project is being coordinated from prof Anita Mirijamdotter, and Krenare Pireva Nuci is helping in the implementation of the project as a National Coordinator in Kosovo. Besides a lot of support that is offered from all involved colleagues, it is good to emphasize also the support of prof Lule Ahmedi (University of Prishtina) and prof Arsim Susuri (University of Prizren) which are helping as project managers in respective universities.
This project is coordinated by Linnaeus University (Sweden), in partnership with Norwegian University of Science and Technology (Norway), South-East European Research Centre (Greece), University of Prishtina (Kosova), UBT College (Kosova), Ukshin Hoti University (Kosova), Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (Kosova), Kosovo Accreditation Agency (Kosova).
